Terms of service

1. Scope

These terms govern the sale of subscriptions granting access to the WordPress/WooCommerce extensions published by Johan BERNARD ("Plume"), and to the usage credits consumed by some of their features, which run on the Plume service.

2. Subscriptions & credits

A subscription (Starter, Pro, Agency), billed monthly or annually, gives access to every available Plume extension, on the number of sites included in the plan, and includes a monthly pool of credits shared across those sites. Extensions released after you subscribe are included at no extra cost.

Some features consume credits, including:

• creating product listings and retouching photos with artificial intelligence (Plume Product AI);
• retrieving AliExpress order information (Plume AliExpress Sync);
• registering and tracking parcel numbers (Plume Tracking);
• sending electronic invoices and transaction data to an approved platform (Plume Invoices);
• the first reply to each chat conversation (Plume Chat).

The cost of each action is shown on the Pricing page and may change; an action that fails is not charged. Extra credits may be purchased as one-time packs. Unused monthly credits do not roll over, but purchased top-up credits do not expire.

3. Pricing & payment

Prices are in euros, excluding any applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled. A new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, reserved for new customers and granted once: nothing is charged before the trial ends, and you can cancel before then.

4. Term & cancellation

Subscriptions are commitment-free. You may cancel anytime from your account; access remains active until the end of the current period, with no further renewal. Plume may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment or abuse.

5. Refunds & right of withdrawal

As digital content supplied immediately, by activating the service you acknowledge that performance begins at once and waive any statutory withdrawal/cooling-off period to the extent permitted by law. Purchased and consumed credits are non-refundable.

6. License, service and trademark

Each license permits use of the service on the number of sites included in the plan. The license key is personal and non-transferable: it may not be resold, shared or embedded in third-party software. The service (API, credits, models, rules and prompts run on our servers) may be accessed only through the official Plume extensions, on activated sites; access through any other software, a modified extension or a key that is not yours may result in the license being suspended without refund.

The extensions' code is distributed under the GPL, whose rights are not restricted by these terms. What is provided as a service, together with the "Plume" name, logo and visual elements, remains the exclusive property of Plume: no derived or redistributed version of the extensions may use them, or suggest that it originates from, is affiliated with or is supported by Plume.

7. Use of the extensions

The extensions help merchants run their store; the merchant remains their user and is responsible for how they are used:

• AI-generated content (texts, calculated prices, retouched photos) is offered as assistance. The merchant reviews it before publishing and remains responsible for what they publish, including the accuracy of descriptions and prices and the rights to the original images.
• Parcel tracking and AliExpress orders: the information comes from carriers and suppliers. Plume passes it on as received and does not guarantee its accuracy or delivery times.
• Invoices and electronic invoicing: Plume Invoices produces documents from the store's data and the merchant's settings; the merchant remains responsible for the accuracy of that information and for meeting their tax and accounting obligations.
• Chat: messages exchanged with visitors pass through the Plume service and are deleted automatically after a retention period, as described in the privacy policy. The merchant remains responsible for the replies they give.

8. Availability & liability

Plume aims to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Plume's liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months and excludes indirect damages.

9. Data

Your data is handled per our privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by [French] law. The parties will seek an amicable resolution before any legal action.
