This policy explains what personal data Plume (Johan BERNARD) collects, why, and your rights, in line with the GDPR.

Data we collect

• Account & billing: email address, and payment data processed by Stripe (we never store your card number).
• License: your license key, the domain(s) where the plugin is activated, and activation/check timestamps.
• Forms: name, email and message when you contact us or submit an idea.
• Technical: IP address and request logs, for security and abuse prevention.
• Data processed by the extensions: to provide their features, the extensions send the Plume service the data they need: product information and photos (Plume Product AI), order and tracking numbers (Plume AliExpress Sync, Plume Tracking), data of the orders to invoice or report (Plume Invoices), messages, first name and email of visitors who use the chat, and emails left for a promo code (Plume Chat). For this data, Plume acts as a processor on behalf of the merchant using the extension.

Purposes & legal basis

• Provide the service and manage your license (contract performance).
• Process payments and billing (contract / legal obligation).
• Respond to your requests (legitimate interest).
• Secure the service and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).

Processors

• Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
• ScalaHosting: website and database hosting.
• [Email provider, e.g. Resend]: transactional emails (if applicable).
• Technical providers needed for the extensions' features (artificial intelligence, parcel tracking, approved e-invoicing platform, image storage): detailed list on request.

Retention

Account and license data are kept while your subscription is active, then as needed to meet legal (accounting/tax) obligations. Contact messages are kept for [duration]. Chat conversations (Plume Chat), images included, are deleted automatically 90 days after their last activity, and emails left for a promo code after 365 days.

Cookies & local storage

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We only use your browser's local storage to remember your language preference and your license key on the account page. Payment (Stripe) may set its own cookies on its domain.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to your data. To exercise them, reach us via our contact page (or email hello@plumeplugins.com). You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
